Lesson 6 - Advertise, Advertise, Advertise
Now that you have a web site and content, you need to advertise. There are several ways you can advertise your new business for free or nearly free.
Today, I'll tell you two easy ways I market my business online.
Craig's List is a free classified ad site that receives billions of hits every month. You can use this high volume of traffic to begin advertising your site, and you can do it for free. The beauty of this site is that you can easily track your ads to see which ones are getting the most traffic. (You can't promote affiliate links on this site, so you may want to consider a free classified ad site that accepts affiliate links, or you can create a simple subscription page and use it on this site.)
You should have several ads you've written that you can use on this site. Follow the directions on the site and begin advertising your business.
Next, you should have at least one article ready to promote. You can submit it to article directories for use in other ezines.
Include a title, summary, resource box, keywords, and your resource box. You will need to copy and paste your elements into the submission form.

Search Warp
Idea Marketers
(I use Article Marketer to promote my articles because it's a whole lot easier.)
You should also promote your newsletter. You want to build your mailing list. Your list is where you will make your real money.
Where to find ezines:
Best Ezines (This site belongs to Ezine Articles, so you can submit your ezine through the Ezine Articles control panel.)
Advertise in other ezines. Look for newsletters in your target market. You want to target ezines that most closely match your list as possible.
Instead of advertising your products, though, you want to advertise your newsletter. Create an ad that drives your potential customers to your site.

Buy sponsor ads, or solo ads. They cost more, but they are far more effective.
